There is plenty to see and do in the area with Tamar lakes reservoir within walking distance, offering water sports, a 3-mile off road cycle path, fishing, and tea rooms for a traditional cream tea! Popular Parkruns are held at weekends around the lake (do not forget your wrist band!).

The National Trust beaches of Sandymouth and Duckpool are a 15-minute drive away, with large sandy beaches at Widemouth Bay and Bude which also has an amazing seapool. The RHS Gardens Rosemoor and picturesque village of Clovelly are an ideal day’s adventure. Location link
